Student Development Officer - (41)
- Job Type Full Time
- Qualification Bachelors
- Experience 3 years
- Location Mpumalanga
- Job Field Education / Teaching / Training
Key Performance Areas:
- Provide support to the student leadership to be functional.
- Identification of training/development needs of students and student leaders.
- Facilitate the delivery of training and development programmes for student leaders as well as other students.
- Creating awareness regarding student development opportunities.
- Provide operational support and mentorship to student societies and clubs.
Minimum Requirements:
- A 3 year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching/training experience.
- Proof of having served in a student leadership structure (SRC).
- Qualification in teaching/training will be an added advantage.
Key Competencies
- A sound knowledge of trends in student governance affairs.
- Ability to research and develop student leadership and development programmes and material, and to promote cultural diversity.
- Functional knowledge of management principles.
- Ability to organise and administrate the operations of a function/event on campus.
