Superintendent Electrical – Still Bay at Hessequa Municipality

Requirements: 

• Trade Test Certificate (Electrician / Millwright) 
• Valid Code C1 driver’s license 
• Computer literate  
• Must  not  have  a  fear  of  heights  and/or  be  claustrophobic  
• Good  communication  and interpersonal skills 
• Three years’ apprenticeship experience required 
• An Electrical Certificate (N4) as well as a valid Professional Driver’s Permit, will serve as recommendation. 

Duties: 

• Monitor and implement procedures 
• Monitor attendance, overtime and timesheets 
• Mark routes for cables laying 
• Install and test electrical machinery 
• Ensure that all projects and activities are aligned with the budget 
• Plan routine and preventative maintenance of electrical systems 
• Maintain and repair low, medium and high voltage network equipment 
• Provide internal training 
• Implement health and safety measures 
• Supervision 
• Administrative tasks
