Key Performance Output

The successful candidate, reporting to the Manager IMC and will be responsible for the following:

• Adhere to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOP's, operational standards, policies and practices. Engage with airlines to obtain load sheets.
• Ensure compliance to relevant statutory/legislative regulations, SOP's, operational standards, policies and practices.
• Monitor performance of contractors and service providers according to service level agreement
• Assist during emergency situations by coordinating activities and affording the necessary priorities of infrastructures while keeping the affected stakeholders updated on progress.
• Manage and supervise overall work performance of Maintenance Controllers.
• Manage shift roster and leave schedules.
• Manage Timekeeper System for IMC Department.
• Training and Development of staff.
• Communicate high level unplanned maintenance and provide feedback to operations, engineering and airport users when applicable.
• Address the escalated critical infrastructure breakdowns and report to management and affected stakeholders.
• Drive operation and team efficiency improvements.
• Manage the utilisation of telephone management system and provide relevant reports.
• Monitor progress to ensure on-time performance of unplanned maintenance activities.
• Ensure efficient record keeping of unplanned maintenance records.
• Compile and submit incidence, investigation and KPI reports.
• Perform quality assurance on Work Requests and Breakdown Work Orders to ensure data accuracy through the Oracle Enterprise Asset Management System.
• Monitor and control various maintenance systems.
• Ensure system integrity and accuracy of information.

Technical Skills and Experience

The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required: 

• Diploma Technical, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, Industrial, Electronics is essential.
• Trade Test in relevant area is recommended.
• 4-5 Years Technical Operational experience is essential.
• 1-year supervisory experience is recommended.
• Code B;Motor vehicle licence
• MS Office Intermediate.
• EAM/Oracle/SAP PM intermediate
