• VACANCY: SUPERVISOR – MAINTENANCE(Paterson Grade C4)

• The Western Cape Blood Service is on the lookout for a dedicated Supervisor-Maintenance to join our team.

Core Responsibilities

• Supervision of Maintenance Department (Electrical, Plumbing/Welder, Carpentry, HVACR, Projects & contractors). Overseeing the electrical installations and maintenance.
• Establish the safe and effective operation of all electrical reticulation systems, components, equipment, and issue Certificate of Compliance (C.O.C) according to government regulations (SANS10142 and the Electrical installations Regulations under section 35 of the Occupational Safety Act) and company Work Instructions.
• Co – ordination of operations. Electrical Inspection/Testing. Repairs, Maintenance & Design.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12
• Trade Tested Electrician (N6)
• Wireman’s licence
• 5 Years post Trade Test experience
• Computer literacy
• Minimum of 3 years demonstrable leadership and influencing skills
• Driver's licence without endorsements
