Supervisor: Prelab- Greenacres at Ampath

Purpose of Position:

To supervise and coordinate the work processes, systems and employees within Pre lab.

Requirements:

Certificate: Supervision, Grade 12 (Required), HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field (Required)

Required Experience:

• 1-2 years supervisor experience
• 3-5 years Prelab experience
•  Knowledge: Basic Conditions of Employment Act (BCEA), Knowledge
• Google and Google Mail, Knowledge: HPCSA regulations, Knowledge: Meditech system
• Knowledge: MS Excel, Knowledge: MS Word, Knowledge: Occupational Health and Safety Act (OSHA)
• Knowledge of Ampath Safety
• Health and Environment management policy

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the management of the Prelab employees to ensure that departmental objectives are achieved.
• Handle problems and queries to ensure the effective functioning of systems, instruments and processes., Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath.
• Oversee and maintain the accreditation system to ensure QC standards are upheld.
• Supervise work processes and systems in order to ensure the effective functioning of the department and efficient service delivery.
• Train employees in order to ensure that effective competency levels are maintained.
