Job Advert Summary    

• As our Smart Service Supervisor, you’ll be the engine behind our workshop’s daily operations. You’ll lead a skilled team of technicians, ensure top-tier service delivery, and maintain compliance with safety and OEM standards. Your role will be pivotal in creating a seamless, customer-focused experience.

Minimum Requirements    

• Grade 12 (Matric)
• Certification in automotive service (ASE or OEM-specific) – advantageous
• 3–5 years of hands-on experience in automotive repair or service operations
• 1–2 years in a supervisory or team lead role
• Valid driver’s license
• Clear criminal record
• Fluent in English and Afrikaans

Duties and Responsibilities    

• Manage workflow across service bays and ensure timely vehicle repairs in the following service areas: windshield chip repairs; headlight refurbishment; paintless dent removals; mag rim chip repair; safety film fitment; paint protection; tracker fitment; and other related services
• Lead, train, and motivate technicians and support staff
• Schedule jobs based on technician expertise and vehicle complexity
• Ensure quality control and adherence to manufacturer guidelines
• Communicate with customers regarding service needs, timelines, and costs
• Enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations
• Maintain accurate records and generate performance reports
• Collaborate with parts, sales, and warranty departments to resolve issues
