Job Description
 Key Performance Output 

The successful candidate will be reporting to the Assistant Manager Surveillance & Investigation and will be responsible for but not limited to the following:

• Manage time and attendance and conduct resource planning.
• Develop Human Capital in line with relevant policies and procedures, including the Work Skills Plan.
• Ensure smooth shift handover of all communication and equipment from one shift to another.
• Ensure professional behaviour and application of customer service standards by all staff at all times.
• Ensure compliance and adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), including regulatory registers.
• Detect, investigate and report all Security incidents/deficiencies and non-conformances.
• Detect, prevent and report crime prevention initiatives by actively combating all criminally inclined acts.
• Monitor deployment and processes as per SOP.
• Report, follow-up and provide timeous feedback on all incidents and accidents.
• Build and maintain sound internal and external stakeholder / customer relations whilst balancing enforcement       with professionalism.
• Attend to and assist with customer and stakeholder complaints and compliments, including escalated        complaints.
• Respond to all emergencies in the prescribed manner and ensure that the team can respond adequately.
• Attend to all administrative tasks e.g. time keeping, leave, trend analysis reports, overtime, Opex input and Capex input where applicable.

Technical Skills and Experience 

The following skills and experience or the equivalent of such will be required:

• Diploma in Aviation Security is essential.
• Certificate in South African Civil Aviation Authority (SACAA) Supervisory is essential.
• SASSETA Surveillance Skills Program Certificate is essential.
• SASSETA Skills program 1-4 Certificate is essential.
• Supervisory Development Program is advantageous.
• 5 years’ operational experience in CCTV/Aviation is essential.
• 1-year Supervisory experience is essential.
• MS Office proficiency.
