Supplier Declaration Controller - PA 1340 at Volkswagen Group South Africa

Job Description and Responsibilities;    

• Submitting and controlling all relevant supplier C2 forex certificates to ensure that forex declarations can be administered efficiently and timeously for APDP account.
• Submitting and controlling all relevant supplier standard material declarations (SMD's) required for rebate applications.
• Ensuring that data is transferred from industry APDP system (AAS) to VWSA system by approving the supplier declarations.
• Reconciling all relevant supplier C2 forex declarations on the relevant schedules in APDP account and submitting final report to the APDP Controller in time to ensure achievement of quarterly deadlines.
• Maintaining a schedule that tracks the receipts of supplier C2 systems audit certificate in order to minimize exposure to penalties relating to incorrect C2 certificates.
• Responsible for developing the local forex system.
• Developing and maintaining a 'Return to Source' process to ensure maximisation of APDP account benefits.
• Monitoring scrap record for accurate inclusion in APDP account.
• Reconciling the scrap on a monthly basis and ensure an accurate payment to the Department of Custom & Excise.
• Training suppliers with regards to C2's and assist with organising training sessions if and when offered by the International Trade and Administration Commission (lTAC) and external organisations. 
• Administering all aspects of the PRC purchasing process when applicable.
• Monthly reporting on: C2 and SMD status. Status of supplier C2 systems audit certificate

Education and Experience;    

• BCom Degree / Post-Matric Accounting qualification and studying towards a BCom Degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3-5 years financial experience in an automotive environment
• 2-3 years’ experience in APDP/ import/ export environment
