Supplier Master Data Specialist at Ivanhoe Mines

Job Description

• IVANPLATS (Pty) Ltd, a subsidiary of Ivanhoe Mines, is advancing the development of its world-class palladium-rhodium-nickel-copper-gold project in the Limpopo Province near Mokopane. This unique mineral deposit will be exploited using large mechanised state-of-the-art underground mining methods, deploying the latest technology to   develop this “mine of the future”.

Suitable candidates must possess the following minimum qualifications and skills:

• Grade 12
• Relevant Business (Finance or Supply Chain) and / or Information Technology degree or diploma.

Suitable candidates must have the following work experience:

• 5 years working experience with supplier master data, including in depth knowledge on requirements for DMRE reporting from the supplier database.
• Previous experience working with master data program.
• Previous experience working with supplier portals.
• Previous experience with Integrated Information Management System (IIMS)

The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not be limited to:

• Effective managing the Company’s Master Data quality.
• Accountable for the accuracy, completeness, timeliness and management of data.
• Maintain master data records on Supplier Portal and in JDE to the highest level of accuracy.
• Submission of new supplier document for vetting.
• Ongoing cleaning of database Suppliers, ensuring that all inconsistencies are identified and corrections made to suit acceptable standards.
