    Supply Chain Controller

    Reporting to the Head of Finance & Operations, this is an exciting opportunity to take full responsibility for the direct procurement function for Roche Diabetes Care Australia (RDCA).

    More Specifically, You Will Be Responsible For

    Although this position sits within the Finance and Operations team, you will work cross-functionally with other business functions across the organisation and externally, such as, warehousing and distribution, customer service, marketing, sales and wholesalers. This position will be accountable for inventory management, product forecasting and demand planning for the RDCA business.

    • Accurate forecasting and demand planning of stock requirements
    • Purchasing stock, monitoring orders and maintaining efficient stock levels
    • Acting as the key user for material management, material master for SAP and participating in relevant projects as required
    • Evaluating, implementing and monitoring systems, processes, and procedures to enhance efficiency across the supply chain
    • Documenting policies and procedures
    • Maintaining effective and professional working relationships with local and global colleagues
    • Managing and influencing key external business relationships to optimise cost and drive process efficiencies

    More Specifically Our Ideal Team Member Will Be Able To Demonstrate The Following

    Your inventory expertise will be evident from your proven track record in a similar or related role.

    • A minimum of 5 years proven track record in a planning/purchasing function (essential)
    • A minimum of 5 years warehouse and Logistics experience (essential)
    • Tertiary qualifications in supply chain or equivalent (desirable)
    • Working knowledge of SAP and demand planning tools (essential)
    • Strong computer literacy with intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft office applications, particularly Excel (essential)
    • APICS qualification
    • Ability to work cross-functionally, and within teams both locally and regionally/globally
    • Ability to take direction and work autonomously with a strong aptitude to learn
    • Good project management and time management skills
    • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
