Supply Chain Lead: Productivity at Shoprite Group of Companies

Job Objectives

• Identify and develop continuous improvement strategies aligned with company objectives 
• Identify and drive new business opportunities and initiatives 
• Develop business cases 
• Design, execute and ensure successful delivery of supply chain projects to enhance productivity and optimize operations 
• Understand and apply lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies 
• Lead and develop cross-functional team in executing improvement projects  
• Mentor and train employees in continuous improvement methodologies and tools 
• Engage key stakeholders to provide supply chain support 
• Standardize processes and best practices across locations 
• Develop SOPs and training plans for optimal business and system integration 
• Lead change management interventions 

Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Industrial Engineering 

Experience

• 5 Years's experience in an Industrial Engineer Mangement role 
• Exposure within FMCG/Retail/Supply Chain/Distribution Centre environment 
• Experience in performance management, productivity and continuous improvement methodologies would be desirable 
• Demonstrated experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodology  
• Experience leading continuous improvement events and using statistical analysis
