Our client, a leading global automotive company has an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Supply Chain professional to drive the Supply Chain process so as to meet customer demand and optimize supply plans to meet customer commitments across the Sub-Sahara region.

Key Accountabilities Include:

• Drive the S&Op process and manage Demand Planning to ensure availability of the right stock at the right time.
• Reconcile forecast variance analysis with business trends and recommend progress plans to the organization
• Define and manage the inventory holding policy as well as service level in conjunction with strategic marketing plans.
• Manage 3rd Party Logistics service providers to ensure that the most effective and efficient transport methods are used

A Degree in Supply Chain, Commerce, Industrial Engineering or equivalent coupled with 8 to 10 years S&Op, Demand & Supply planning and Logistics management experience within the FMCG, Automotive or Retail industry is required. Applicants must have at least 3 to 4 years’ people management experience; as well as strong senior stakeholder engagement and advanced MS Excel skills.
