About the job
The ideal candidate is responsible for developing and implementing a supply strategy that delivers the lowest total cost, reduces inventory, and maximizes customer satisfaction through world class service. 

Responsibilities

• Interpret Company strategies and translate into SCM tactical strategy and operational plans
• Provide input into SCM strategy to ensure alignment with and supports business strategies
• Plan, implement and Manage SCM strategy and business plans
• Determine sourcing capability to secure supply of critical/strategic commodities for business
• Manage internal and external relations to ensure business needs are met
• Provide specialized support to Business stakeholders
• Establish and maintain strategic relations with stakeholders to ensure optimal SC efficiency
• Collaborate and communicate with suppliers
• Ensure implementation of Information Management technology and infrastructure that supports strategic, tactical and operational SC management processes
• Assume responsibility for integrity and utilization of SCM manual and computerized systems
• Conduct SCM meetings with personnel in order to keep employees informed.
• Sustain and manage communication in accordance with TAU mining communication plan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Hons will be advantageous
• 7+ years' of supply chain experience
• Strong negotiation and influencing skills
