What you’ll have done before:

Baseline:

• At least 8 years Supply Chain related experience with knowledge of Refinery Operations
• NQF Level 7 (Degree Transport, Logistics, Supply Chain related)
• Exceptional written and verbal communications skills
• Deep knowledge of South African Petroleum Supply Chain Operations
• Experience working with Government departments and other Oil companies
• Always available 24/7 standby

Advantageous:

• Preferred B Tech degree in Chemical/Industrial
• Ability to work successfully in an ever-changing environment and navigate ambiguity
• Preferred experience in Fuels Product planning and scheduling, distribution customer service
• Advanced Refinery operations experience

• Proactively identifying challenges and provide mitigations or solutions
• Building and leverage on relationships
• Managing fuel supply requirements for Engen Refinery and Depot network
• Daily reporting on Engen supply status
• Leading and keeping the team motivated to remain focused on targets
• Demonstrate Engen’s PCB values
• Minimizing deviations from plans
