Supply Chain Specialist (French Speaking)

• The Supply Chain Specialist ensures the performance of the supply chain from order to shipment & delivery at destination and customer service. This requires the Supply Chain Specialist to track inventory and orders as well as forecast future supply needs.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 or equivalent.
• Must be able to communicate in French (verbal and written), this is a non-negotiable
• Relevant Logistics/Supply Chain tertiary qualification will be an advantage

Duties

• Purchasing off all components/ consumables/raw materials/finish goods local and international.
• Maintaining excellent logistical flow.
• Inbound/Outbound management.
• Maintaining the MRP.
• Establish Min / Max Levels and MEQ .
• Supply chain management (Audits, negotiation, terms & conditions, penalty clauses).
• Purchasing off all components/ consumables/raw materials/finish goods local and international.
• Maintaining excellent logistical flow.
• Inbound/Outbound management.
• Maintaining the MRP.
• Establish Min / Max Levels and MEQ .
• Supply chain management (Audits, negotiation, terms & conditions, penalty clauses).
• Initiating and implementing new projects across the supply chain for maximising efficiency
• Maintain and improve the level of service to customers and suppliers.
• Analyse, assess, manage and mitigate risk
• Overseeing demand and supply planning
• Following up and coordinating local and international purchases as well as ETA’s of shipping
• Identify opportunities to streamline product flow, drive waste reduction and increase cost efficiencies within supply chain
