Support Engineers -Cape Town at Phakisa Group

Overview:

• We are currently seeking Support Engineers to join our team. This is a contractor position reporting to the Operations department. Ideal candidates will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to internal and external stakeholders.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Requirements & Minimum Qualifications:

• National Matric Certificate (completed)
• Comptia A+ or N+ certification (international) is essential
• Proficiency in network infrastructure technologies, encompassing Microsoft operating systems, hardware, software, antivirus, and backup technologies
• Proficiency in internet and email connectivity methodologies, including routing
• Strong technical aptitude with exceptional fault-finding and problem-solving skills
• Fluency in both English and Afrikaans, facilitating effective communication
• Customer-centric approach with exemplary written and verbal communication abilities
• South African citizenship with a valid Identification Document
• Possession of a valid Driver’s License and access to own vehicle is essential
• Residency in Pretoria, Johannesburg, or surrounding areas
• Demonstrated commitment, professionalism, reliability, and ethical conduct

Additional Qualification Requirements & Experience:

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate
• Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
• 1+ years of extensive experience in desktop, cloud, and network infrastructure support
• Familiarity with VOIP systems is preferred
• Prior experience in Network Support is beneficial
• Previous exposure to Cybersecurity practices is advantageous
• Minimum Requirements:  CompTIA A+/N+
