    Talent and Enablement Manager | Gauteng

    Job Description

    • Managed People Solutions is seeking a Talent & Enablement Manager to join our team in Gauteng. In this role, you will lead and embed group-wide learning, leadership development, and organizational capability, ensuring that employees at all levels are equipped with the skills, behaviors, and development pathways needed to support sustainable business performance.
    • The role is responsible for company-wide enablement, covering frontline, operational, professional, and leadership populations within a multi-entity group environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Learning & Enablement Delivery

    • Plan and deliver learning and development initiatives across operational, professional, and leadership levels.
    • Design and implement leadership and management development programmes focused on people leadership, performance, and capability.
    • Ensure learning interventions are practical, scalable, and aligned to business needs.

    Capability & Skills Development

    • Conduct learning needs analyses across business units.
    • Maintain and update capability matrices and development pathways.
    • Support individual development plans (IDPs) and career progression initiatives.

    Assessments & Development Tools

    • Manage assessment tools and frameworks for development and role readiness.
    • Support talent reviews, succession discussions, and development planning through assessment insights.
    • Ensure ethical and compliant use of assessment methodologies.

    Learning Operations & LMS

    • Manage the LMS, including learning pathways, content allocation, completion tracking, and reporting.
    • Coordinate internal and external training providers.
    • Manage the allocated learning budget, ensuring cost control and value for money.

    Stakeholder Engagement

    • Partner with line managers and senior leaders to identify development needs.
    • Support managers in developing their teams through learning interventions.
    • Present learning updates, progress, and insights to leadership forums as required.

    Reporting & Continuous Improvement

    • Produce regular learning and development reports and dashboards.
    • Track learning uptake, completion, and development impact.
    • Use data to continuously improve learning programmes and delivery.
    • Responsible for the compilation of detailed quarterly, annual, and/or ad-hoc HR dashboards and reports, as directed by the Managing Director and/or needs identified.

    People & Team Leadership

    • Lead and support direct reports within the Learning & Enablement function.
    • Ensure effective skills transfer and development within the team.
    • Foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

    Qualifications & Experience (Market-Aligned)

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Learning & Development, Human Resource Development, Education, Psychology, Business, or related field.
    • 8+ years’ experience in Learning & Development, Training, or Enablement roles.
    • 3+ years’ experience in a senior or lead L&D role with delivery accountability.
    • Proven experience delivering companywide learning programmes.
    • Experience working in multi-entity or group environments.
    • Strong experience with LMS platforms and learning operations.

    Advantageous, not required

    • Master’s Degree in L&D, HRD, OD, Leadership Development, or similar.
    • Certification in Facilitation, Coaching, Learning Design, or Change Management.
    • HPCSA registration.
