    Tax Analyst

    • As a Tax Analyst you’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance, minimizing risk, and finding opportunities. Your daily responsibilities will include:
    • Prepare  tax calculations, reports and returns in compliance with tax laws.
    • Embedding PMI global tax compliance framework and policies in local tax processes.
    • Support tax reviews, audits, and health checks across markets.
    • Collaborate with other departments and teams, such as finance, legal and operations, to ensure alignment and coordination on tax matters.
    • Developing and maintaining positive relationships with tax authorities.       
    • Stay updated with changes in tax laws and regulations and proactively identify potential risks or opportunities.
    • Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on tax implications of business decisions and transactions.

    Who we are looking for

    A forward-thinking tax professional who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment with:

    • A degree in Accounting or Finance (equivalent experience is acceptable, and a Postgraduate Tax degree is an encouraged bonus).
    • At least 3 solid years of experience as a Corporate Tax Consultant/Analyst.
    • A strong grasp of tax legislation, including VAT, Income and employee tax is a must.
    • Knowledge of international tax, customs and excise highly desirable.
    • Financial and tax reporting on all financial cycles (e.g., Monthly, Quarterly, financial year-end, etc).
    • The ability to work autonomously.
    • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage heavy workloads and competing priorities.
    • A diligent and meticulous approach and the ability to build positive relationships with collaborators.
