    Team Lead-After Market Services

    WHAT'S THE ROLE?

    Are you an agile, out-of-the-box thinker driven by process improvement, people leadership and best in-class- customer service practices? Our Tools Servicing Centre at the South African head-office (Midrand ) has a vacancy for a Team Lead. You will be the operational leader in managing our Tool Service Center (TSC) in order deliver best in class After Market Services (AMS) for our tools. You must demonstrate a track record of constant high performance and consistent results in your role.

    This role reports into Tool Service Center Manager and will manage stakeholders within our other markets in the M.E.T.A region (Middle East, Turkey and Africa) . Applications are open to all candidates nationwide that are willing/able to relocate.

    WHAT DOES THE ROLE INVOLVE?

    You will be responsible to organize and implement all relevant After Market Service processes in the market organization in collaboration with the sales & marketing teams. You will be accountable to for the operational and strategic KPI’s in the Tools Service Centre,  executing seamless processes & quality management for all tool service customers - via the different channels

    The team leader will establish global standards to build a Lean TSC and will be responsible for the recruiting, coaching & development of team members, and contribute to succession planning at a local and regional level.

    WHAT YOU NEED IS:

    • A completed Bachelors Degree  or post-graduate diploma (Engineering ,Technology , Supply Chain or Business are the preferred disciplines )
    • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Operations or Supply Chain or Project Management.
    • Your technical background and/or with experience working on the shop floor 
    • Knowledge  and application of LEAN processes is an advantage.
    • Strong analytical and conceptual skills, with business orientation and customer centricity
    • Proven leadership skills having managed a team of technicians , with the ability to motivate team members
    • A high level of spoken and written communication, with effective presentation skills
