Team Lead at Lancom Infastrucrure

Role outline:

The role of the Team Lead is to manage the company’s field services and technical teams and take full responsibility thereof. Leading by example to complete assigned installations and ensure internal and industry standards are met. The technical manager must also perform management tasks for the teams and technicians. These duties include supervising, discipline, employee reviews, handling employee complaints and dividing/assigning the workload among teams.

Duties and responsibilities: 

• Management of technical teams and technicians
• Ensuring installations get completed to internal standards and customer satisfaction
• Preparation and maintenance of team vehicles – tools, materials, fuel
• Responsible for company tools and condition thereof
• Ensuring technicians are equipped and presentable daily
• Attending to faults and call backs
• Assessing requirements for new sites and providing feedback to office staff
• Designing cabling systems
• Designing reticulation infrastructure systems
• Configuration of network devices; routers, AP’s, switches, mobile devices etc.
• Management of stock and consumables. On hand and in storeroom
• On site communication with project manager or customer
• Communication with the Service Coordinator regarding site updates
• Health and safety file implementation and management
