Job Description

• Parts Incorporated Africa is searching for a Inventory Supervisor to join the team at the Meadowview Warehouse (RDJB).The purpose of this position is to oversee all daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and safety in receiving, storing, and shipping.

Required Competencies, Knowledge, and Skills

• Minimum Grade 12 qualification.
• Previous WMS and Picking experience.
• At least 3-5 years’ experience in warehousing.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Adaptability.
• Teamwork.
• Decision Making.
• Flexibility.
• Work overtime when required.
• Show ability to understand and grasp issues that may arise in the warehouse and to be able to come up with solutions that meet the Warehouse Manager expectations.
• Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to perform operational ad hoc responsibilities as and when required.
• Responsible for employee’s well-being.

Key Performance Indicators includes, but not limited to:

• Consolidate exercises to ensure stock is kept together and maximize space utilization.
• Managing inventory levels, optimizing workflows,
• Accurate inventory records (minimized stockouts and overstock location).
• Regular cycle counts or wall to wall counts
• Maintain inventory accuracy rate (reduce stockout and complete all scheduled cycle counts
• Oversee daily warehouse activities including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping
• Resolve inventory queries
• Monitor and analyze warehouse performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement
• Assist in monitoring and managing inventory levels across various categories to ensure optimal stock availability.
• Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to maintain accuracy in stock counts.
• Management
• Collaborate with the purchasing team to forecast inventory needs and initiate orders as necessary.
• Utilize inventory management software to monitor stock levels, track orders, and generate reports for management
• Implement and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
• Assist in training and mentoring new team members on inventory processes and systems.
