    Team Leader: Forensic Support

    Purpose Statement

    • To lead, motivate and manage the Forensic Support team to achieve the business objectives of preventing Capitec Bank's exposure to application fraud, including supporting branches, Direct Loans and New Employer by validating clients identify, employment and financial information.

    Experience

    Minimum:

    • 3 years’ exposure to application fraud within a banking environment in a leadership or management role 

    • At least 1 years’ experience in leading/managing a team

    • In an environment which required validating work 

    Qualifications (Minimum)

    • Grade 12 National Certificate / Vocational in Grade 12 National Certificate

    Qualifications (Ideal or Preferred)

    • Bachelor's Degree in Forensics or Finance

    Knowledge

    Minimum:

    • Stakeholder relationship engagement and management

    • Responsibility for delivery in a dynamic environment

    • Functional experience relevant to Forensic support

    • An understanding of Application Fraud 

    • Banking Industry 

    • An in depth understanding of Fraud Monitoring  

    • Understanding Fraud Risk Management

    • People management practices

    • General business acumen

    Ideal:

    • An understanding of Application Fraud within Capitec  

    • Understanding of branch operations within Capitec  

    • Previous forensic/investigation experience

    • Legislation relating to banking

    • Best practise relating to fraud detection and prevention
