Tech Officer: Cable Joint/Construct/LMT at Telkom

Core Description    

• To repair and maintain Telkom's cable network, across the entire range, in order to provide a continuous service to all our 

customers.

Qualifications    

• Grade 12 & relevant modular training (NQF level 4) or Grade 10 (int) (NQF level 3) & relevant modular training (NQF 

level 4)

Experience    

• 3 Years relevant experience in a cable environment and/ or relevant modular training in the cable environment completed. 
• Ex-/ Current Telkom Full Time Bursars, learnerships and internships candidates will be exempted from the 3 years experience requirements but must have a minimum of 12 months relevant experience.

Special Requirements    

• Valid driver's license/ Code EC1 & public driver's permit.
• Prepared to work in all weather conditions.
• Prepared to work in confined spaces and at heights.
• Not colour blind.
• Able to work in all areas.
• Able to travel and stay out.
• Able to work outside normal working hours.
