Job Description

• A leading construction materials organisation is seeking a Technical Consultant to provide expert technical support and guidance to customers within the construction industry.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering technical solutions, strengthening customer relationships, and supporting quality and product excellence initiatives.

Requirements:

• National Diploma in Chemistry or Civil Engineering.
• Advanced Concrete Technology (ACT) Diploma or similar qualification.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience within construction processes, including:
• Concrete production
• Concrete mix design
• Mortars and plasters
• Quality control
• Construction materials applications
• Strong technical knowledge of cement, aggregates, admixtures, and concrete technologies.
• Experience with material applications and quality control standards.
• Knowledge of SANS specifications relating to aggregates, cement, and concrete.
• Strong customer relationship management skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and technical report-writing abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Highly detail-oriented with strong customer record management skills.
• Excellent communication skills, including presentations and technical report writing.
• Strong problem-solving ability with a pragmatic and persuasive approach.
• Skilled in planning, organising, and executing tasks with precision and professionalism.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
