    Technical Coordinator (AMR)

    Description

    To provide technical, coordination, and administrative support to NDOH for AMR activities including supporting the Ministerial Advisory Committee (MAC) on AMR and its Technical Working Groups’ (TWGs) activities.

    Management of Stakeholder Relations

    • Establish and foster relationships with the MAC-AMR and its TWGs, and NDOH teams.
    • Ensure adequate engagement of the MAC-AMR and its TWGs, as well as any other relevant stakeholders as the situation demands under the direction of the NDOH team.

    Planning and Coordination

    • Provide secretariat and technical duties to the MAC-AMR and its TWGs, and the NDOH team.
    • Assist the MAC-AMR and its TWGs and the NDOH team in the creation of workplans and/or project plans and ensure that the plans are updated monthly.
    • Ensure sign off of all relevant documents takes place including the sign off of all deliverables and milestones.
    • Plan, organise, facilitate, and support the MAC-AMR, its TWGs, and the NDOH team’s meetings and workshops related to the implementation of the AMR strategy.
    • Booking and preparation for the meetings, planning sessions, scoping sessions, and other meetings as required by NDOH.
    • Identify possible opportunities for improvement of the implementation processes in support of the MAC-AMR and its TWGs.
    • Ensure deadlines are met.

    Administration and Operations

    • Update/develop effective AMR operational processes including stakeholder management & communications memos or other relevant documentation as requested by NDOH.
    • Ensure high quality and timely reporting of essential activities as requested by the NDOH team.
    • Provide administrative support including scheduling meetings, drafting of minutes, monitoring, and documentation of the MAC-AMR and its TWGs activities, and stakeholder management.
    • Notifying all relevant parties of upcoming meetings and workshops via minutes meeting notifications.
    • Distributing relevant documentation to all relevant stakeholders prior to meetings.

    Program Technical Output

    • Attend meetings in order to compile technical minutes and prepare action lists for the MAC-AMR and its TWGs.
    • Support development of relevant evidence-based documents as determined by the MAC-AMR and its TWGs and the NDOH team.
    • Support the gathering of evidence for recommendation and drafting of advisories and submissions to the Minister of Health and/or Director-General, or other Office of the NDOH, as directed by the MAC-AMR and the NDOH team.

    Requirements

    • University degree in related field, with relevant minimum 3 years’ experience.
