Technical Field Officer in Training- Gqeberha/Port Elizabeth at OVK - Group

Minimum Requirements:       

• Grade 12;
• A relevant tertiary qualification;
• Sheep, breed and / or wool classer courses an advantage;
• Valid drivers license.

Skills:

• Sound communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
• Computer literate (MS Office);
• Basic knowledge of livestock, sheep and wool;
• Basic knowledge of herd management;
• Basic knowledge of wool and mohair industry as well as classification standards;
• Basic knowledge of sheep breeding standards;
• Good interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities:

• Sourcing of wool;
• Technical client services;
• Asset management;
• Stock management;
• Administrative management.
