Minimum Requirements    

• National Diploma in a relevant field (Essential/Minimum or)
• N Diploma in Supply Chain Management (Essential/Minimum)
• N4 Technical qualification (Essential/Minimum)
• Trade: Artisan (Relevant), MQA/QCTO Accreditation (Essential/Minimum)
• Certificate in First Line Management (Essential/Minimum)
• B Tech in a relevant field (Recommended/Desirable)
• 3-5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, and Maintenance environments (Essential/Minimum)
• Experience in Reconditioning within Supply Chain and Maintenance areas is required
• Competence in SAP Position Specific Module (Essential/Minimum)
• Proficiency in MS Office relevant packages (Essential/Minimum)
• Valid Public Driver's License, Code B (Essential/Minimum)
• Psychometric Assessment (Essential/Minimum)
• Certificate of Fitness (Essential/Minimum)

Duties & Responsibilities    

• Ensure compliance with legislation, safety standards, and company policies during reclamation and reconditioning processes.
• Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and safety.
• Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers, to ensure business needs are met.
• Conduct inventory control and technical inspections in the Reclamation Yard to maintain up-to-date records and ensure safety.
• Manage the reconditioning requisitions, purchase orders, and supplier performance to ensure cost-effective and timely repairs.
• Participate in the audit and improvement processes for reconditioning and reclamation activities.
• Foster a strong team culture by adhering to performance management and promoting company values.
• Oversee the organisation and management of the auction process and other sales channels for redundant materials.
• Support and enable supply chain processes through effective use of systems infrastructure and technology.
• Promote a culture focused on safety and healthy work environment through compliance with SHE policies and procedures.
