Reporting to the Maintenance Section Manager, you will fulfill the necessary requirements within the Plant Maintenance Department to meet the Company’s objectives by providing technical support and administration, to ensure a facility that enables the production of vehicles of a high-quality standard in a stable and cost-effective manner:
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Plant Kaizen and improvement projects.
Stable production – ensure that downtime is kept below targets.
Recurring Problem investigation and permanent countermeasure
Fault-finding and problem solving on major breakdowns.
Planning and tracking of periodical maintenance and scheduled work
Training, human development (Apprentices and staff members) and Ensuring Legal Compliance
Involvement in upgrades, new equipment, kaizen activities, new model introductions and MTTR and MTBF improvement
Quality problem investigation and countermeasure.
Cost monitoring and reduction activities and Quality control systems for the Plant.
Ensure compliance with Corporate Governance / Cyber security policies.
Carry out electrical / electronic / IT / mechanical maintenance according to schedule.
Record performance data and generate reports.
Maintain high Safety, Health and Environmental standards.
Spare parts and Cost management.
Support relevant departments.
Participation in Projects, development, quality circle and Kaizen activities.
Good technical knowledge of automated control systems and Paint Plant experience, Robotics (Kawasaki), Information Technology (IT), PBIS system, GALC, VSD’s.
SCADA system and HMI development, coupled with the ability to integrate automated systems.
Knowledge and good hands-on experience in PLC (Mitsubishi, Allen Bradley & Toyopuc) and is essential.
Knowledge of ISO 9000 and ISO 14001 requirements
High level of computer literacy
Must be prepared to do shift work, overtime, callouts, weekend duty, shutdown & stand-by as when required.
