Safety - adherence & tracking during all Projects.
Project management – Overall turnkey lead.
Hinpyo - Read, understand, and analyse against measurement reports. Create/adjust when not available.
Stamping Process Forms - Read, understand, review and approve Stamping Process Forms.
Design reviews – Lead Design review internally and mediate DCIs with suppliers for manufacture.
Manufacture - Continuous follow up with makers on manufacture status and manage schedule in line with project milestones.
Supplier Buy Off - Attend FETS buy off activities and evaluate in TSAM’s best interest.
Repeat Trails - Lead activities to ensure safety/ productivity and quality on related FETs are achieved.
Analysis - Quality and productivity problem solving lead. Measurement report analysing and countermeasure lead.
Cost Planning - accurately establish cost estimate for input into product brief reply, RMBSS and FSR.
ECI/DCI – continuous monitoring and implementation during project preparation.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
BTech Degree NQF 6 (minimum 360 credits) preferably Mechanical Engineering or National Diploma (S4) with minimum 5 years’ experience as an artisan toolmaker.
Tool Making technical knowledge and experience is essential.
Good working knowledge of production systems, Press Die processes and C/F’s concepts is essential.
Knowledge of ISO 9001 & 14001 advantageous,
High level of computer literacy is needed for this position. (Excel, Word, Auto Cad, Catia)
TMC systems knowledge will be advantageous (WinCMM, SMS)
Press Plant experience would be an advantage.
