    Technical Support Engineer

    Your Tasks And Responsibilities

    • Complete broad scope of technical tasks including evaluation of customers equipment and systems among others.
    • Determine priorities of tasks and actions and schedules measures accordingly.
    • Log into the phone system to ensure the RSC maintains a high phone availability for its customers and CSE/APP alike, and thus facilitates in a faster issue resolution
    • Demonstrate a professional and positive attitude toward all customers, CSE/APPs and other colleagues
    • Always follow the call handling process with the focus on Customer pre-clarification.
    • Take necessary steps toward problem solving by using analytical troubleshooting techniques and the Siemens Knowledge Base (SKB) including known issues
    • Develop an onsite action plan and make spare part recommendations if an onsite visit cannot be avoided
    • Set priorities to escalate problems to HQ Support in a timely manner and in alignment with the defined SLA
    • Utilize Smart Remote Service (SRS) to proactively support the Customer Service Organization in countries where applicable with the aim of increasing profitability, sustaining a competitive advantage, and enhancing overall customer satisfaction by improving uptime and efficiency in their labs.

    Your Qualifications And Experience

    • Diploma in IT or equivalent electrical engineer qualification
    • A+
    • N+
    • MCSE Server 2012/2016 or equivalent
    • 5-8 years proven work in IT server and desktop support
    • DICOM communication knowledge advantageous
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills
    • Ability to plan, multi-task and manage time effectively
    • Must have a valid driver’s license and your own vehicle,

    Good to know: You must be available on short notice to travel country wide and to Africa due to operational requirements and on long term projects as well as travel outside of the region to assist nationally.
    Experience in the following disciplines will be highly advantageous

    • Syngo Plaza
    • Syngo.via
    • Basic SAP user interface knowledge
    • Storage Server experience
