About the Role

• We are seeking a Technician with 2-3 years of demonstrable experience to join our dynamic team. This role focuses on providing technical support and ensuring the smooth operation of systems and technologies within our organization. You will play a critical role in troubleshooting issues and implementing solutions in a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues in a timely manner.
• Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of computer systems and networks.
• Conduct routine system checks and audits to ensure optimal performance and security of IT resources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement technology improvements.
• Document technical processes, issues, and solutions for internal use and knowledge sharing.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot network issues as they arise.
• Participate in training sessions to educate team members on new technologies and upgrades.
• Support the implementation of various technology projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

Requirements

• Proven track record in a technician role, with demonstrable experience in IT support or related fields.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose technical issues effectively.
• Proficiency in common operating systems, such as Windows and Linux.
• Familiarity with networking concepts and technologies, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical users.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, ensuring collaboration on projects.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ITIL frameworks and best practices.
• Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MCSA).
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies and cloud services.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and practices.
