Job Advert Summary    

• The Technician will be responsible for Maintaining / Organise the resources within the Maintenance Department and ensure / guarantee the quality of work from Millwrights, the key areas of maintenance are high speed packaging, filling lines, conveyance equipment.

Requirements    

• National Diploma/Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• Millwright Trade tested.
• Understanding of technical drawings and technical guides.
• 3+ yrs People/ team supervisory experience.
• Must be able to think analytically and should have problem solving skills.
• Must be willing undertake standby duty.

Duties and Responsibilities    
Organising / Maintenance of Resources

• Ensure effective execution of all maintenance and repairs on machinery.
• Ensure involvement in all maintenance/service tasks, closely working with agents to ensure equipment standards and supplier conformance  
• Maintain and repair equipment and automation systems.
• Report on production availability and continually strive to improve productivity.
• Provide technical and specialist support.
• Inspect and test equipment as per prescribed ELKE schedule.
• Do fault finding on failures and take corrective action.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Responsible for planned maintenance between shifts.
• Ensure effective Electromechanical trouble shooting, proactive and reactive.
• Ensure development of RCA.
• Ensure Job card creation for daily tasks.

Ensure requisitions for spares are raised

• Ensure quality of workmanship and performance of Millwright tasks
• Provide necessary assistance to Artisans working on breakdowns.
• Ensure modifications and work done by Artisans comply with standards.
• Perform planned job observation with artisans.

Ad-hoc activities  

• Participate actively in Way Better Teams.
• Assist with maintenance administration.
• Ensure you work according to Clover's safety procedures.
• Responsible for standby duties.
