Technician: NRL Immunology at Ampath

Purpose of Position:

• To process specimens according to set criteria and standards on all benches within the Immunology Laboratory and to assist with monitoring the workflow requirements to ensure timeous delivery of results.

Requirements:

• Grade 12, HPCSA Registration in Relevant Register and Practice Field, National Medical Technician certificate

Required Experience:

• 18 months’ experience as a student within a pathology laboratory environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to all quality processes in order to maintain quality and accreditation standards within the laboratory, Maintain good client relations to promote the image of Ampath, Perform allocated bench work in order to ensure effective and timeous delivery of results, Perform MM tasks in order to ensure effective monitoring and ordering of stock quantities
