Technologist: Research And Development - Midrand at Premier FMCG (Pty) Ltd

• As a Technologist: Research and Development, your main purpose will be to conceptualise, develop, manage, and sustain a cost-effective product innovation process based on international best practices and leading-edge technologies. You will play a vital role in ensuring profitable growth in line with our business strategy.

Qualification Requirements    

• NHD Food Technology/B.Sc. Food Science/B.Tech Food Technology/B Consumer Science or Equivalent Qualification.

Experience Requirements    

• Minimum 5 Years of Product Development Experience,
• Minimum 3 Years of Innovation Development and Implementation Experience
• Experience in Relevant Industries- Advantageous.

Key Outputs    

• New Product Development: You will be responsible for ensuring the development of new products to meet innovation portfolio gaps.
• Supplier Relationship Management: You will recruit, manage, and leverage supplier relationships to support our product development efforts.
• Continuous Improvement Projects: You will identify, manage, and execute continuous improvement projects related to our core business.
• Project Execution: You will ensure successful project execution, meeting business objectives on time, on quality, and in full.
• Quality Assurance: You will deliver quality products in line with national best practices, quality standards, and regulatory requirements in the food industry.
• Specialist Advice: You will provide specialist advice to the business regarding new products, including formulations, technology, compliance, and more
