Experience and qualifications
Minimum Qualification : Grade 12 (NQF Level 4)
Experience: 2-3 years relevant medical training or previous medical underwriting/admin experience
Must meet Fit & Proper requirements for long term insurance category B1 for advise (preferable)
Person must not be an unrehabilitated insolvent
Responsibilities
Ensure underwriting - medical queries and tasks allocated are resolved timely and effectively by providing first time resolution on enquiries
Ensure Service Level Agreements are met and exceeded by engaging in effective communication and delivery of service according to SLA's standards that will ensure client retention and satisfaction
Ensure accurate completion of documentation as per departmental guidelines in order to meet client needs and effectively utilise IT systems to ensure accuracy of documentation
Ensure adherence to organisational best practice and legislative requirements. Adhere to policies and procedures and take corrective action where necessary
Ensure all risks to the company are mitigated, identified and escalated where necessary
Manage personal development to increase own skills and competencies
Maintain a broad product knowledge in order to effectively and accurately respond to customer queries
