    Tender Proposal Engineer -Siemens Mobility (SMO)

    Role Headline

    Manages general budgeting, accounting and reporting operations in all segments related to projects finances area(s), other accountabilities to directly support effective and profitable Business (Sub) Segment management.

    Responsibilities of the Role

    •  Supports accountable Sales Management, provides advice and proposes measures regarding Business Administration.
    •  Supports implementation of financial and business administration policies, standards and procedures, for the assigned organization unit. 
    •  Accomplishes financial analysis, planning and controlling activities and all related business administration activities. 
    •  Completes consolidation of all accounting, financial reporting and other finance related operations (incl. P&L reporting and Balance).
    •  Supports effective treasury management, optimized capital financing structure and tax compliance management.
    •  Checks content and analyses supplier and/ customer contracts, to ensure compliant and standardized contract management.
    •  Analyses and provides recommendation regarding capital expenditure proposals. 
    •  Supports in the preparation of complex bids or tenders for project business.

    •  Perform efficiently under pressure, ability to communicate effectively all the time and drive to engage all the stakeholders towards a project goal. 
    •  Comprehensive (deep and broad) professional know-how and experience in one Sub Job Family. Systematic use of know-how to solve complex problems.  
    •  Demonstrates high professional judgment competence. Changes existing ways and approaches. Impact on results in larger organization.
    •  Well established in external and internal networks within specialist field. Proactively shares knowledge in a systematic way in larger organization to grow know-how base and supports a learning organization.

    Qualification and Experience:

    •  Degree/Diploma in Financial field/Business Management
    •  Minimum 5-8 years of experience 
    •  Sales commercial experience within a rail industry
    •  Quantity surveying with accounting will be an advantage
    •  Prior experience in NEC/FIDIC Contract management
    •  Advanced excel skills and working knowledge is a must.
