Sourcing of tender material and documentation
Convene, manage, and oversee tender viability / screening meetings
Oversee attendance of all tender briefing sessions
Assess tender requirements and documents to prepare tender submissions and to ensure compliance with the Company’s policies and applicable laws
End-to-end management of all tender submissions from identification to successful submission
Engage, debate, deliberate with all internal and external stakeholders across all business disciplines [procurement, finance, operations, technical, human resources, legal and compliance] to ensure submission of responsive bids
Attend to all post-submission internal and external engagements
Attend to all post-award engagements [contract and SLA negotiations]
Formulate and manage policies, processes, procedures, systems, compliance, and governance structures for effective tender solutions
Maintain and monitor records of submitted, outstanding / pending, won, lost, etc. tenders
Maintain electronic and manual databases for submitted tenders and signed agreements
Ensure that the quality and completeness of tender submissions are never compromised.
Constantly seek innovative and new ideas and ways to ensure a streamlined smooth and effective tender management process
Develop and manage budgets and forecasts for the tender department based on strategic and business growth requirements

Qualifications
Education and Experience
Matric / Grade 12 and a National Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management/Sales/Marketing/Law/Accounting/Transport/Supply Chain/Logistics or similar
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the fleet management and asset-based finance industry
Excellent Fleet Management & Asset Base Finance product knowledge
Understanding of the various Fleet Management & Asset Base Finance disciplines [Procurement, Finance, Risk & Compliance Management, Operations, Technical, CRM, Business Development]
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a tender environment [administrative, operational, technical]
Sound project management and coordination skills
Sound presentation and public speaking skills
Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills
Understanding of the Public Sector legislative environment [Public Finance Management Act, Municipal Finance Management Act, Supply Chain Management Provisions]
Understanding of the general legislative environment [Occupational Health & Safety, Environment]
Sound understanding of the automotive industry at large
