Test Facility Team Leader at De Beer Intellectual Property Attorneys

Job Description:

• You will be responsible for supervising and developing the capacity of team members, whilst maintaining and supporting quality, safety, health and environmental factors. 

Your role will:

• Supervise the activities and performance of the Test Facility Operators and Assistants.
• Execute and oversee maintenance and/or repair of Test Facility equipment and machinery as per SAP PMO’s.
• Monitor facility to ensure reliability and availability for testing.
• Implement and manage approved facility enhancements as communicated by R&D Facility Engineer.
• Perform basic data interpretation to identify errors or inconsistencies.
• Adhere to Environmental Management Programme, Security and Safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
Educational requirements:

• Grade 12 or equivalent
• Relevant Trade certificate, i.e. Boilermaker / Fitter and Turner

Additional requirements:

• Computer literacy – Excel and Word competent
• Knowledge and experience in SAP, Isometrix, MS Office and administration software

Role-specific knowledge:

• 5 - 8 years’ post-trade working experience in a relevant field, i.e.:
• Engineering maintenance
• Repair and installation services and
• Support environment
• Supervisory experience
• Experience in Safety management
• Previous experience with equipment (mobile, systems and process) maintenance
