Test Lead – Cape Town (6 months contract) at Paracon

Key Responsibilities

• Maintains the Test Approach with support and guidance.
• Define Test Plans in collaboration of various stakeholders.
• Manages all required test demand and forecasting in test team.
• Recruits & allocates testers according to demand.
• Manage resources & allocations, assists to scope & plan test effort.
• Estimates & reports issued from Test Team.
• Escalate test related Issues to management, reports on overall progress.
• Responsible for quality control.
• Report on quality metrics, highlighting trends and issues and driving this forward towards continuous incremental improvements.
• Monitor and report on test progress.
• Ensuring the proper use of testing tools and adherence to test processes and methodologies.
• Ensuring the team follows testing standards, guidelines, and testing methodology as specified in the testing approach.

Minimum Requirements:

• Minimum of 6 years experience as a Test Manager
• 5 years experience in creating test plans, test strategies, roadmaps, methodologies and frameworks
• Regression Testing, System Integration Testing, Functionality testing
• 5 plus years’ experience in SQL
• 5 years experience with Automated testing (Development, Execution, Analysis and Reporting)
