Test Services Analyst at Accenture

We are now looking for people who are interested in Test to join our team. It is a place where you’ll gain insight into delivering full complex test cycles across multiple software releases on several retail delivery projects. You’ll be joining a great team and we will support you on your journey to become an expert.

What you will be doing:

• Be involved with all aspects of testing during the project life cycle.
• Gain hands-on experience of testing for large scale projects.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders to become a key point of contact for Test.
• Train both your colleagues and our clients.
• Learn then take part in modern Software Development using Agile, Scrum etc methodologies.
• Develop test conditions, scenarios, cases and scripts according to the specific test phases (e.g. System Test, Integration Test, etc.).
• Gain practical experience of both manual and automated testing as well as learn multiple approaches and tools.
• Support go-live and roll-out of solution.

What we’re looking for

• Academic achievement – preferably you’ll have a STEM-related degree, however, if you have a strong academic record, are passionate about pursuing a career in test and are willing to learn then we want to hear from you.
• If a grad - interests outside of university – what makes you stand out from the crowd and why are you remarkable?
• Work experience – you’ll ideally have gained some level of work experience with retail sector exposure advantageous.
• Flexibility and ability to travel – The opportunity is based in Cape Town. Travel is fundamental to the role (post-COVID); you’ll view this as an invaluable opportunity to develop your experience, increase your commerciality and exposure to different working environments.

It will be a bonus if you have experience with:

• Automation tools
• Scripting languages
• Functional testing
• Regression testing

Location

Travel to, and work at, client sites in the SA and overseas with homeworking as may be appropriate (especially now during COVID times)
