Test Technician – High Voltage - Helderberg at Communicate Recruitment

• The Engineering Test Technician's job is to test new versions of products that engineers create.
• You will collect and work with data to make sure these products work correctly.
• This involves dealing with different types of electrical systems and parts of the product, like its structure and software.
• You need to be very organized and report everything you do during tests
• Making and supervising tests for high-voltage equipment in a testing area
• Following company rules when testing high-voltage systems
• Using tools to test new engineering models and handle the data from these tests
• Keeping our lab safe and organize
• Working with engineering and production teams to find and solve mechanical and electrical problems
• Writing down everything about the tests and inspections very carefully
• Explaining technical problems and discoveries clearly
• Connecting components together and building larger systems
• Helping figure out what's wrong when something doesn't work
• Supporting general engineering tasks when needed
• Help train and oversee new technicians
• Putting in, fixing, testing, and starting up electrical equipment
• Testing the production line at the factory for high-voltage equipment
• Making documents about how tests are done and what happens
• Going to places to set up and fix the mentioned products
• Helping create and test new products, sometimes working with tiny electronic parts and using tools like multimeters and oscilloscopes 

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3-5 Years of experience
• Working with HV electrical systems
• Excellent verbal and communication skills
• Being skilled at taking apart and putting back together machines that use both electrical and mechanical parts without needing instructions 

Qualification:

• Electrical Trade / Wiremans license or
• BTech / MTech Electrical Engineering
