Tetris - Quantity Surveyor at JLL

Role Purpose

Tetris is looking for a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to work on corporate interior fit out projects based in Johannesburg, South Africa. The successful candidate will be responsible for showing high levels of technical capability, sound commercial knowledge and a good understanding of the key drivers or cost and value; capturing and sharing knowledge and driving innovation in service.

What this job involves

Pre-Contract:

• Preparation of initial budget estimates.
• Preparation of concept estimates to detailed estimates throughout design development stages.
• Value Engineering.
• BOQ production.
• Assist with preparation of tender documents.
• Assist SQS with managing tender period, analysis and recommendation.

Post Contract:

• Co-ordination and compiling Contract Documents.
• Payment Recommendations.
• Controlling change control process.
• Assisting with agreement of variations / claims.
• Assisting with agreement of Final Accounts.

Sounds like you? To apply you need to be / have:

• 5+ years’ proven work experience in corporate interior fit out projects.
• Proficient in DimensionX for measuring and compiling BOQs.
• National Diploma qualification or equivalent.
• Articulate in written and oral communication.
