Theatre Stock Controller Assistant – Foreshore, Cape Town at Cure Day Hospitals

KEY OUTPUTS

• Assisting Stock Controller with management of theatre stock and equipment charging.
• Responsible for stock control in theatre including optimum stock levels, credits, wastages, expired and aged stock, stock takes, etc.
• Responsible of the theatre stock billing process.
• Responsible for the administration of consignment stock.
• Responsible for maintaining of Theatre charge sheets.
• Ensure client satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum of Grade 12.
• Commercial/nursing qualifications is preferable.
• Minimum 2 year’s work experience in similar role.
• Previous experience in a day hospital will be to your advantage.
• Assist the Stock Controller during Stock Take with all the necessary administration.
• Assisting the Stock Controller on a day-to-day basis with all daily duties, as required.
• Monitor changes to stock bins and make necessary changes to Batch Stock Binning.
• Responsible for checking and making sure that all theatre backings, in the patients file, has been marked for billing.
• Receiving, filing and copying of original invoices.
• Processing of invoices.
• Ordering stock.
• Computer literacy including, Microsoft Office.
