    Trade Planning Manager

      You are dynamic thinker with a high aptitude for learning

    •       You have built credibility within your organization and amongst your peers
    •       You are an expert at implementation and execution of strategic objectives
    •       You are passionate about retail and selling
    •       You have excellent communication and negotiation skills
    •       You have a reputation for being insightful and operating with integrity

    What you’ll have done before:


    •       At least 10 years’ Retail/Sales/Marketing experience within mainstream retail with five of these linked to supermarket retailers
    •     NQF level 7 (Degree/Advanced Diploma with specialisation Retail, Business Management or equivalent) would be advantageous
    •       Five years’ relevant leadership and team management experience
    •       Experience in developing trade/selling/marketing strategies
    •       Understand the dynamics and implementation of a relevant pricing strategy
    •       Integrate with Marketing and Sales departments to drive a holistic trade planning process
    •       Deep knowledge of retail principles with an in-depth understanding and experience in sales management

    What you’ll be doing

    •       Develop, Implement and Manage an effective Trade Planning Process
    •       Develop and execute Engen Convenience Pricing Strategy
    •       Integrate with Marketing, Sales and Operations department to deliver an effective promotional plan
    •       Optimise current promotional process through effective integration with convenience departments
    •       Analyse promotional effectiveness and deliver strategies for improvement
    •       Review current convenience marketing integration processes with the aim of driving enhanced capability
    •       Monthly trade performance analysis and reporting
    •      Development of an annual trade/promotional calendar
    •       Implement and ensure effective promotional planning
    •       Present trade performance analysis to key stakeholders
