    Trade Tested Millwright

    • A well-established manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Trade Tested Millwright to join its maintenance team. If you thrive in a fast-paced production environment, enjoy solving technical problems and take pride in keeping machinery operating at peak performance, we'd love to hear from you.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform preventative and planned maintenance on production machinery
    • Attend to electrical and mechanical breakdowns with minimal downtime
    • Conduct fault-finding on PLC-controlled equipment
    • Diagnose and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
    • Maintain motors, gearboxes, conveyors, pumps and other production equipment
    • Install, commission and modify machinery where required
    • Complete maintenance reports and documentation
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
    • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities
    • Work closely with production teams to maximise plant availability

    Minimum Requirements

    • Qualified Trade Tested Millwright
    • Minimum 5 years' post-trade experience in a manufacturing environment
    • Strong electrical and mechanical maintenance experience
    • PLC fault-finding experience
    • Experience with preventative and breakdown maintenance
    • Sound knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
    • Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings
    • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
    • Ability to work independently and under pressure
    • Willingness to work shifts or overtime when operationally required

    Advantageous Experience

    • FMCG or high-volume manufacturing
    • Automated production lines
    • Variable Speed Drives (VSDs)
    • Continuous Improvement, Lean Manufacturing or TPM exposure
    • CMMS or maintenance management systems
