Transformation Specialist at TFG (The Foschini Group)

Key performance areas:

• Input into Transformation and BBBEE scorecard strategy as well as the Sustainability strategy.
• Compile the Group’s Transformation plan, collaborate and agree the annual targets with the relevant stakeholders to achieve Group targets
• Manage and coordinate the relevant transformation initiatives to achieve the desires outcomes
• Project management of the initiatives, in conjunction with the trading divisions, and the quarterly reporting thereof. (Business partner role)
• Extensive collaboration on tactical plans at executive levels across various internal and external stakeholders
• Identification of opportunities for the B-BBEE scorecard across the group and make recommendations for improvements
• Involvement in systems / process changes relating to new and existing projects / programs
• Continuous research and provision of recommendations to ensure we maintain best practice/compliance
• Formulate and implement plans to ensure supplier B-BBEE certification [ensure certification is in place] and internal reporting
• Compile and collate the quarterly reports and scorecard and provide feedback and insights to the relevant stakeholders
• Preparation of budgets, projections, and 3 year plans with ongoing oversight
• Manage the annual B-BBEE Audit in order to ensure timeously certification 

To qualify for this position you will need:

• Matric
• 3 year University Degree : [Accounting / Stats/ similar / LLB]
• 5-8 years’ relevant BBBEE experience
• Proficient in MS Office [Advance Excel NB]
• Excellent knowledge of the B-BBEE Codes of Good Practice
• Excellent communication skills [verbal and written], communicate effectively at all levels & liaise with the teams and various divisions
• Exceptional Numerical ability
• Business acumen
• Ability to Persuade and influence stakeholders at various levels
• Strong organizational and planning skills
• Ability to work under pressure and display initiative in a deadline driven environment
• Ability to effectively problems solve and act independently when faced with complex situations
• High attention to detail
• Ability to work independently, as well as within a team 

The following qualifications/skills/knowledge would be advantageous:

• Experience in a retail environment
• B-BBEE MDP
