Receive all documentation and proof of deliveries from transporters and updating on Plato.
Scan all proof of deliveries and trip sheets received and filing.
Handle of price queries with regards to transport and creating of adhoc requisitions.
Daily liaise with Transporters and Finance with regards to any price related or other queries on trips.
Check scanned pod’s by running weekly report and following up with transporters on return of such.
Assist with clearing of transporters parked documents list.
IS THIS JOB FOR YOU ?
The ideal candidate should have minimum 2 years’ experience in the export industry. It is mandatory for the candidate to have a service industry experience with an emphasis on commercial sales and Logistics.
The candidates should have Matric and a Road and Transport Management qualification.
Relationship management capability and an ability to interact with stakeholders is essential for this role. The role calls for a person who has very high attention to detail.
