Transport Broker at OVK - Group

Minimum Requirements:       

• Grade 12;
• Degree or Diploma in Marketing an advantage;
• 5 years’ previous experience within a logistics environment;
• Valid drivers license.

Skills:

• Sound communication and language skills in Afrikaans and English;
• Computer literate (MS Office);
• Excellent interpersonal skills;
• Excellent marketing skills;
• Excellent negotiation skills;
• Must be able to cope under pressure;
• Excellent conflict handling skills;
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Transport tons per budget;
• Expand transport contractors network;
• Scheduling of trucks;
• Handle all inquiries from transport contractors and loads;
• Achieve commission turnover per budget.
