Are you a detail-oriented financial analyst with a passion for transportation? We are seeking a talented Transport Reporting Controller/Analyst to join our dynamic team.
Key responsibilities:
Road Transport Reporting: Prepare comprehensive reports on various road transport activities, including daily road movement from multiple sites, load tracking and route optimization
Missing Load Analysis: Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to missing loads, ensuring timely recovery or resolution
Weight Discrepancy Analysis: Analyze weight discrepancies between loaded and unloaded vehicles, identifying potential issues and implementing corrective measures
Data Management: Efficiently handle large volumes of transportation data, ensuring accuracy and integrity
Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis of transportation operations, including cost-benefit analysis and performance metrics
Reporting: Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports for management, highlighting key findings and recommendations
Minimum requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
3years experience in a financial accounting environment
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions like pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis tools
Ability to handle large datasets and work with complex spreadsheets
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Experience in the transportation industry (preferred)
