Tyre Breakdown Controller: Bloemfontein at FS Personnel Recruitment

What the job involves

• Join a fast-paced 24/7 fleet tyre support business serving the transport industry across South Africa.
• Working Hours
• 12-hour shifts on a rotating roster.
• Alternating day and night shifts.
• 45-hour work week.
• Weekend shifts may be required according to the roster, with rotational weekend coverage

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and manage customer tyre breakdown requests via WhatsApp.
• Dispatch the nearest tyre service provider to attend to breakdowns.
• Coordinate communication between customers and service providers.
• Follow up on service delivery and ensure breakdowns are resolved efficiently.
• Maintain accurate communication throughout the process.

Minimum requirements

• Fluent in both Afrikaans and English (spoken and written) – non-negotiable
• Previous experience in the tyre, trucking, transport, logistics, or related industry will be advantageous.
• Based in or near Bloemfontein is preferred for bi-weekly in-person meetings.
• Comfortable using WhatsApp, smartphones, and Google Maps.
• Strong telephone manner and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently from home.
